Several reliable tipsters have previously claimed that the 6.1-inch iPhone will come in a number of new colors, including red, blue, yellow, orange, and pink. Apple's move comes a few days after reports of an issue that causes the device to restart, freeze, and respond slowly.

The iPhone will be examined and sent to an Apple Repair Center for service. The iPhone Xs will be priced the same as the iPhone 8 Plus was previous year, and the iPhone Xs Max will command the same premium as the iPhone X did in 2017. It is also seen with a single rear camera. Essentially, we're expecting it to be similar to last year's iPhone reveal event, only with more focus on growing the iPhone X brand. A dual-SIM phone would be very helpful for global business travelers. Most believe that it will be dubbed "iPhone 9", but it could also be called "iPhone 8s" or even possibly just "iPhone". The iPhone XS series will be available in gold, which the iPhone X wasn't, and could possibly have dual-SIM card capabilities, reported by Bloomberg. In terms of pricing, Apple could continue with the $1000 mark for the iPhone XS Max. Macerkopf reports the iPhone 9 would cost €799, the iPhone XS would sell for €909, and the iPhone XS Max is going to cost €1,149. The pricing is for the base 64GB model. Another larger screen 6.5-inch OLED device, along with a lower-cost, cheapest of them all, 6.1-inch smartphone with an LCD display. And as usual, it seems like we know everything about them heading into it.

Google is also all set to announce its Pixel sequel on October 9, and this time too, we expect the search giant to do wonders with the minimal hardware. The cheaper phone will come with 3GB RAM instead of 4GB on the other two.

The the 2017 iPhone X starts at £999/$999 for the 128GB base model and goes up to a whopping £1149/$1149 for the 256GB storage variant. Apple iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max and a 6.1-inch iPhone with LCD display are expected at the launch event.

An image purported to be of the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone was uploaded to Slash Leaks in early August by user Mikelagore, though there is no way of verifying its authenticity.

The iPhone XS is the one that is closest in size, features and specs to last year's release.
