Samsung Galaxy J3 (2018) and Galaxy J7 (2018) Unveiled

In this case, we're getting a sneak peek at the Galaxy Note 9 and one thing that Android fans will be pleased to see is that Samsung is not going with a notched designed.

As was with the Galaxy S9 and S9+, the Galaxy Note9 won't be too different from its predecessor.

In fact, the only significant design change might be on the back panel of the phone, where Samsung appears to have moved the fingerprint sensor below the camera module.

The Dual SIM phone runs Android 8.0 Oreo and has a 3700mAh battery with fast charging support.

Samsung is also keen to drop the "Gear" branding on its devices, as recent patent applications for the Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Fit are a big evidence that the Korean gadget giant is looking to unify its product lineup under the well-known "Galaxy" branding.

Samsung this week unveiled a pair of new mid-range phones.

Samsung is expected to launch its upcoming flagship phablet, the Galaxy Note 9 sometime soon. The device is backed by a 2,600mAh removable battery that is rated to give up to 18.7 hours of talk time. There are whispoers of a high-resolution display on next year's Galaxy S10. As a comparison, the Galaxy Note 8 has a small 3,300 mAh battery that doesn't last almost long enough.

Keep watching for more as it evolves. The device also features a 24MP front-facing camera. Look for something similar to complete the Note 9.

The J7 (2018) includes a superior 13-megapixel (f/1.7) camera on the rear and a 13-megapixel (f/1.9) selfie-shooter on the front. Internally, the Note 9 is expected to have slightly improved specs compared to the Note 8 and refined cameras.

Needless to say, the firm has also done a good job at keeping information surrounding pricing under lock and key, so we don't know how much it will cost when it hits the shelves. On the rear, there's a 13MP camera with f/1.7 aperture. We'll have to wait for more Galaxy Note 9 news and rumors to emerge. However, a new report from BGR states that the company might launch the new Galaxy Note 9 device on August 9 which is two weeks ahead of previous Galaxy Note model.
