Few Storm Chances For Monday

And according to the National Weather Service at State College, these heavy downpours pose an isolated risk of flash flooding this afternoon and into Monday morning.

Thursday: Partly sunny with a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms will have some heavy rain at times.

Some storms Monday will also have the potential to become severe, so stay weather aware. Storms look to slide out for most of next Sunday with highs returning to the low 90s. The humidity will make it feel more like the upper 90s, close to 100 degrees, under partly cloudy skies.

Rain chances will continue for your Monday and for the rest of your work week.

A marginal risk means isolated severe storms will be possible.

Expect rain, and even possible thunderstorms with some downpours for the morning commute Wednesday morning.

Thu: High: 93 Low: 71 Becoming mostly sunny, breezy.

The heat continues the next several days, however some folks might be able to get a bit of relief this afternoon and evening.

A 90 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms can be expected through the day, mainly after 2 p.m.

The heat is on again by week's end when highs soar back into the mid and upper 90s once again along with gusty southerly winds and higher humidity but not too many rain/storm chances.
