Will he survive and leave to Texas with Molly and her boy, or will season 3 premiere with us being bystanders to Rigg's funeral? Good Luck nxt season!'

Getting back to the show, FOX has officially ordered a third season of the hit action-drama, that renewal confirmation came from Michael Thorn, President, Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company. He said the first incident happened when he became angry with what he deemed unsafe working conditions on the set. His starring role in Lethal Weapon season three will be Scott's first time taking on a network series regular role.

Stifler's about to get a "Lethal Weapon".

According to a press release from Fox, the network's TV reboot of the Mel Gibson-Danny Glover buddy-cop film franchise has been renewed for a third season, with the "American Pie" alum added to the cast to replace Clayne Crawford, who was sacked from the show over unspecified abusive behaviour on the set.

In the third season of the action drama, based on the Mel Gibson-Danny Glover movie franchise about a rogue cop and his straitlaced partner, Scott will play a new character who joins forces with Wayans' Roger Murtaugh, as Crawford's Martin Riggs is written out. Warners on Sunday confirmed Crawford will not return to the drama with a statement: "Warner Bros".

Fox has chose to bring back Lethal Weapon, but not its star. Crawford had to apologize for those two specific incidents, with the actor reportedly completing studio-appointed therapy.

"Seann is a fantastic addition to this already wonderful cast", Fox Entertainment president Michael Thorn said in a statement.

And then last week, TVLine broke the news that Warner Bros and Fox had chose to part ways with Crawford, and were actively searching for an actor to replace him.

Back on May 8 one of the show's two leads, Clayne Crawford, was sacked from the show.

Days after multiple outlets, including THR, reported that Crawford had been fired from the series, the actor posted multiple messages on his verified social media accounts indicating that he had yet to be informed of his future on Lethal Weapon. Television producing in association with Lin Pictures and Good Session Productions. Matt Miller, Dan Lin, Jennifer Gwartz and McG serve as executive producers.
