Why Josh Brolin Prefers Playing Thanos Over Cable

It was Ruffalo who really tuned Josh Brolin in to the fact that he wasn't just going to be "a prop". However, recently Josh Brolin let is slip that he did film with Larson, so either Thanos is in Avengers 4, or Captain Marvel is in 'Infinity War'. Even Brolin's comments don't mean she'll actually appear in Avengers 4, just that she was apparently involved in some sort of ensemble scene that may or may not make the final cut. "Josh wasn't in there for much, he did his bit and then a lot of stuff with a lot of us and him was missing because, I guess, he was doing Deadpool 2 and I was doing Melrose and The Current War".

An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios' "Avengers: Infinity War" brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. Four films, from Guardians of the Galaxy to Avengers 4, is also how long Brolin will have played Thanos (who's finally off his floating space-chair), and not a single movie more.

He said: "I don't like the idea of a franchise, personally". "That's what makes the Thanos thing really great".

In another recent interview, Josh Brolin revealed that he likes playing Thanos better than Cable, which was a surprise to him because he felt amusing while acting on the set of Infinity War with the silly motion capture gear on. "It's a finite thing, and I like that". And it was quite the opposite, having seen enough of the movie and realized how cutting edge this technical process is, y'know?

"I thought, 'What the fuck am I doing here?' Because you're in a onesie, man".

"We think about it in four movie terms", said Brolin. I was watching every twitch, every blink. The Avengers and their Super Hero allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe. "My actions. I was living through my intentions".

Avengers: Infinity War opens on April 27th 2018 and will feature an all-star cast including Robert Downey Jr.
