Duchess of Cambridge dons a pinny before going on maternity leave

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge (aka Kate Middleton) is all smiles while arriving at SportsAid to undertake engagements celebrating the Commonwealth at the Copperbox Arena on Thursday (March 22) in London, England.

The Duke and Duchess then headed to a community kitchen to help prepare for a Commonwealth Big Lunch. Instead, the Duchess wore black pumps, a cream-coloured coat by Goat, unbuttoned, over a fun printed Hobbs top and black jeggings.

During her visit at the Royal Society of Medicine in London, the eight-months-pregnant Middleton sported an A-line bespoke mint coat dress by Jenny Packham - one of her favorite designers - featuring a chic bow at the neck. It comes ahead of April's Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, in which leaders from across the world will meet with Queen Elizabeth.

There, the very pregnant royal opened up about her up children Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Yep, some have (oh so kindly) highlighted that the 36-year-old's stomach looks larger than in her two previous pregnancies however, a number of women's health experts have pointed out that this is completely normal.

The Daily Mail pointed out that Kate's bump, which has been on display at numerous royal events in the past few months, is high and wide, meaning it's more likely to be a girl.

Speaking to member Yolanda from Bolivia, Kate said: "I've done that with George and Charlotte - making pizza dough".

Earlier in the week, Prince William told Beatles hero Ring0 Starr during his Knighting ceremony he believed his wife might pop "any minute now", Hello!

The Duke and Duchess helped put the finishing touches to the meal alongside centre users and volunteers.
