Drake Conquers Another Streaming Service: Twitch

The previous record was 388,000 views logged by Dr DisRespect. This was a huge milestone for the game, Ninja and Twitch itself and one has to wonder if we might start seeing more celebrity faces start to stream games or join other streamers.

Fans found Drake and his online pals' video gaming compelling viewing, with one, Taylor Wirth, writing on Twitter, "Did i just sit and watch Ninja, Drake, Travis Scott, and JuJu play Fortnite for four hours?" Fortnite already was a bigger trend than Minecraft in February, and its recent events have the game being easily the most-talked about game, period.

Drake broke records Wednesday as he teamed up with top Fortnite player Ninja to play the co-op sandbox survival game, which was streamed live via Twitch.

Which is even more reason to watch the entire stream above.

The game had a few technical issues to begin with thanks to the sheer number of friend requests that Drake received the moment his PlayStation account name became public knowledge. Travis Scott asking JuJu for Band-Aids.

"Ninja" is Tyler Blevins, a Twitch streamer and YouTuber whose popularity has exploded over the past several weeks.

Epic Games, the maker of Fortnite, also had to be pinching itself.

In another tweet, he wrote: "In the same week I met and recruited LeBron to the Steelers and played Fortnite with Drake, Ninja, and Travis Scott".

Fortnite is a free-to-download sandbox game known for its "Battle Royale" mode, which allows up to 100 person PvP (player versus player) shootouts.

It's safe to say that a more eclectic bunch of people may never play Fortnite again.
