Samsung Galaxy S9 Smartphones Press Renders And Specs Revealed In Massive Leak

And apparently you might be able to pre-order them from February 25, which is the day they're being announced, with them said to be hitting stores on March 8.

With the phone not yet making its way to most global markets, there's still a chance that it will be offered with Oreo out of the box by the time it launches in the U.S. In addition to that, the larger of the two, the Galaxy S9+ will have a secondary 12-megapixel optically stabilized sensor for possibly accelerating focus speeds and producing depth-of-field effects.

Last year's Galaxy S8 featured one of Samsung's most radical redesigns, with the electronics giant becoming one of the first major manufacturers to release a phone that covered almost the entirety of the front with a screen (what Samsung calls the "infinity display"). This is on par with 2016's best phones, such as the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 will be revealed to the world on February 25, and T3's sources in United Kingdom retail indicate that Galaxy S9 deals will become available to pre-order as early as the very next day, on February 26. While early pictures had inaccurate side bezels, this render looks just like the Galaxy S8.

Considering that this phone isn't priced anywhere close to flagships from Samsung or Apple - or even LG and HTC - I think the camera's quality is justified. The next promo image seems to confirm that the Galaxy S9+ will come with dual cameras on the rear, with listed apertures of f/1.5 and f/2.4, showing the different light or dark settings they will both be ideal for. We'd expect a Galaxy S9 deal like this to cost about £980 over the course of two years. The S9 will come with a native storage of 64 GB and will also include a microSD card slot for additional storage. Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) and Galaxy A8+ (2018) debuted with a dual-camera setup on the front.

Although the Samsung Galaxy S9 smartphone has yet to see an official reveal, at this point most of its secrets have already been spilled via leaks and rumours.

The big change this year is an upgraded camera, which will feature a variable-aperture system. Both cameras are vertically oriented, and the fingerprint scanner is now located below the cameras.

Iris and face recognition sensors will be found on the front of the phone.

In terms of the hardware, the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ are going to be the best in business. Both phones will support wireless charging as well.
