The Prime Minister said the Adityanath government had pushed the state from negativity towards positivity and rekindled hope among the people.

Reliance industrialist Mukesh Ambani also addresses the summit and marked Jio as one of the big investors in Uttar Pradesh with the investment of Rs. 20,000 crore.

Adani said, "the group will also actively participate in road and metro projects".

"We can not attract investors if we would not ensure them with security".

Ambani said India can not rise to its full potential without the rise of 22 crore people of Uttar Pradesh.

Anand Mahindra, chairman of Mahindra Group, said his group can set up a manufacturing unit of electric vehicle if the state government comes up a with a favourable electric vehicle transport policy.

Officials behind the Investors" Summit admit that the "return of the rule of law to a large extent' has cheered the industry and that many prospective investors have communicated this to the state's political leadership. He also added that they are planning to reach to every single village if Uttar Pradesh by the end of this year.

He said he grew up listening to stories of her Uttar Pradesh days and felt that he was like a traveller who had returned home after roaming many lands.

CM Adityanath personally oversaw the preparations for the investors' summit taking place at Indira Gandhi Pratisthaan in Lucknow.

"The projects will be developed across Mirzapur, Badaun, Gorakhpur and Bundelkhand districts", the company said in a statement, adding that the investment will churn out almost 3,700 jobs. The group will also develop a Rs 200-crore resort in Modi's constituency Varanasi.

DECLARING THAT the period of "fear and insecurity" in Uttar Pradesh was over, Prime Minister Narendra Modi Wednesday announced the setting up of a defence industrial corridor in the Bundelkhand region with the capacity to attract investment worth Rs 20,000 crore and provide jobs to 2.5 lakh people.
