Charming PSVR Adventure Moss Launches This Month

PlayStation VR has not been a complete disappointment, but the list of games that really show off the technology - and provide gaming thrills that compare with the best standard games - is shorter than we would like.

"From visiting our booths at places like PAX and Gamescom, to sending us feedback on social media after playing Moss on the PlayStation VR Demo Disc, your interest in our hero Quill and the world we're building has been a great source of motivation during the homestretch", he said. "I'm so proud of what we've created, and proud to be a part of this team that worked so hard to bring Quill and Moss to life", he said.

Tom Armstrong announced on the Playstation Blog that Polyarc will release the PS VR game Moss on February 27. To celebrate this epic announcement, the developers have also released the launch trailer you can find above. As this is Polyarc's first game they made a decision to build it with virtual reality in mind from the very beginning, according to the company's website. Built for virtual reality from the ground up, Moss reimagines classic action-adventure gameplay in a first-of-its-kind fully immersive environment.

For those who haven't been following its development, Moss chronicles the journey of mousy heroine Quill, as she travels through a human-sized fantasy landscape.

The trailer explains that your role in the adventure is that of the "Reader", a sort of ethereal overseer that can direct Quill and help with solving puzzles.
