Monster Hunter World Could Add 'Do-Over' Option for Character Creation

Well, it turns out Capcom is aware of our plight, with Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto revealing in an interview with Game Watch Impress at Taipei Game Show 2018 that a complete character creation do-over option could make its way to Monster Hunter: World if fans are vocal enough.

KitGuru Says: I played a few hours of Monster Hunter World over the weekend and so far, it's a very impressive game.

Problems with Monster Hunter World's online features have been preventing Xbox One players from taking part in hunts with others with matchmaking and other services going down. Things could change, though, if there's enough demand for the feature.

With no way of editing your character after it's created, you're pretty much stuck with what you made.

Yuya Tokuda, Director: You can change the lighting on the bottom-left. Using that, not only see what it's like during the daytime, but you can also check the expressions and such for night. On console you use first party matchmaking, you just kind of plug into it, whether it's PSN or Xbox Live, but on PC we're going to have to work more to get our own matchmaking working. After all, MHW's development team is surely busy focusing most of its attention on keeping the game running smoothly for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players, while also polishing the PC version, which has been delayed until this fall. As Capcom announced today, the latest addition to the Monster Hunter franchise has sold 5 million retail and digital copies worldwide and that is, in only 3 days.
