Arsenal Willing To Include Giroud In Any Aubameyang Deal

The same report says that after "several hours" of transfer talks, Arsenal and Dortmund are still some way apart in their valuation of Aubameyang as the Gunners aim to try and get the deal over the line.

Sanchez's actual replacement at Arsenal could be Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, after Borussia Dortmund chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke confirmed his club had received a bid for the Gabon worldwide.

The Gunners opened dialogue with Dortmund last week, who decided earlier in January that they were ready to sell the Gabon worldwide striker.

Gazidis is in talks with Borussia Dortmund over a January move for the Gabon worldwide.

However, their first-choice target for a replacement is Arsenal's out-of-favour star Olivier Giroud. "But I adjust always what suits the players, the quality of the players, the balance of the team".

The Gabon worldwide has emerged as a prime target to reinforce the attack front this month with Alexis Sanchez having already finalised his move to Manchester United in a swap deal involving Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Arsene Wenger is confident that Henrikh Mkhitaryan's versatility will make him a success at Arsenal and believes the former Manchester United midfielder can successfully coexist in the same team as fellow playmaker Mesut Ozil.

Borussia Dortmund insisted that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has a future at the club, after he was left out of the squad for the trip to Hertha Berlin on Friday.

The Telegraph reported recently that our opening £44m offer was rejected by Dortmund but the Mirror suggest a deal could eventually be reached at around £52m.

He added: "This is the kind of thing - he is one of the possible movements, but we have other things in mind as well. At the moment we are not close to do any deals, either Aubameyang or anyone else", he said.

"Because of him, when we came back to Armenia [as a family], it was my dream to continue his work and to also be a football player".
