Women Filed A Lawsuit Against Harvey Weinstein

New York Knicks owner James Dolan and Milwaukee Bucks co-owner Marc Lasry have been named as defendants in a civil suit filed against movie producer Harvey Weinstein.

This story first appeared in the New York Post.

Franklin-the aforementioned assistant asked to obtain Weinstein's ED meds-said she was sacked after she protested Weinstein's request to help orchestrate his sexcapades. That is, friends of Pecker. The mother-of-two's claims followed accusations of rape, sexual assault and harassment made against the mogul by dozens of women.

HARVEY Weinstein told women he slept with Gwyneth Paltrow to coerce them into having sex with him, according to a report in the New York Times.

"Some aided his actions without realizing what he was doing", the Times said. "Nearly everyone had incentives to look the other way or remain silent". At least eight agents at Creative Artists Agency (CAA) alone were reportedly told about Weinstein's behavior, mainly from their female clients-but failed to act and, in some cases, continued sending actresses into potentially risky encounters with him. In November, an actress filed a class-action suit against Weinstein, alleging that he invited her up to his office for a casting session, then asked her to show him her breasts. Since the Weinstein scandal broke, she has learned that Weinstein boasted that he had sex with her. Other assistants said Weinstein threatened them-Rehal says he hinted at getting her younger sister getting kicked out of school-and that he dangled rewards for those who went along with him.

Judd also explained that she was not sure what the public reaction to the Weinstein exposé would be.

Weinstein had always been a generous donor to Hillary and Bill Clinton. Mr. Weinstein would reportedly say during the Obama administration, as he was a generous donor and fund-raiser to the former president and, later, to Hillary Clinton.

Weinstein, a key Democratic donor who fundraised for and donated to Obama's presidential campaigns, would boast about his affiliation with Obama as a way of wielding power, said the Times. But when Matthau walked out crying, she says the assistant "wouldn't even acknowledge me".

Now, a New York Times report details how Weinstein allegedly attempted to silence accusers and, at one point, it is revealed that Girls creator and star Dunham claims to have previously told Clinton campaign deputy communications director Kristina Schake of her reservations about Weinstein. Rehal worked for Weinstein for two years, before quitting in February 2015 due to an "intolerable work environment", her attorney told Variety.

Addressing Dunham's claims, Merrill adds: "Only she can answer why she would tell them instead of those who could stop him".

The women issued a joint statement Wednesday, saying the film companies and some people who work in the industry knew of Weinstein's pattern of behavior, but kept silent or covered it up.

Dunham also claimed she told Clinton spokeswoman Adrienne Elrod, but that she doesn't think Clinton ever received her warning.

The "Divergent" star said as soon as she left the room she started talking about the incident in private.

Just because Harvey Weinstein has been forced out of his company, prominent professional guilds, and Hollywood in general doesn't mean the story is over.
