More Samsung Galaxy S9 Renders Reveal Handsets Design

That would put it a month earlier in the year than the Galaxy S8 (pictured), which was delayed for extended testing following the Note7 disaster.

Samsung isn't making things any easier on us as we try to figure out what the company has in store. The company is also planning to launch Galaxy A8 and A8 Plus smartphones. This is why it is going to launch only two phones this time - A8 and A8+(2018). The two phones are also expected to come with IP68 rating. As expected, the Galaxy A8 (2018) features a 5.5-inch display, whereas the Galaxy A8+ (2018) gets a 6-inch panel.

The smartphone would also come with stylus support, which could make it a member of Samsung's Note family.
That's assuming Samsung actually manufactures the design described in this patent.

The upcoming Android phone will feature a 3,200mAh battery, according to new details posted online by somebody who claims to be in possession of a test unit. Samsung also achieved its highest growth rate in nearly two years, recording growth of 19.3 percent. According to Bloomberg, Samsung plans to unveil its next-gen Galaxy S9 at an event in February 2018.

SamMobile reports that the S9 will also be slightly thicker than the S8, with the extra internal space also hinting at the possibility of a larger battery.

Samsung recently announced their new 512GB mobile storage so the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus are expected to offer storage options for 64GB up to 512GB. Instead of a dual camera, however, it might come with only one rear camera. The fingerprint scanner can be seen on the back of the devices, along with a single camera lens.
