OnePlus 5T event now officially set for NY on November 16

If reports are to be believed then the company will most likely launch the new OnePls 5T on November 16 and that it will be an Amazon exclusive device. The phone will reach China on December 1. Current speculation suggests it will have a 6-inch 18:9 display at 2160 x 1080 resolution, dual rear-camera setup and a Snapdragon 835 processor, but nothing has been confirmed.

The OnePlus 5T is expected to be a refreshed, larger version of this year's OnePlus 5. A leak from a noted tech blogger, and phone leaker, Evan Blass also confirmed this belief. Interested parties can buy ticket to the event through OnePlus's launch page starting on November 8.

As previously reported, the OnePlus 5T will be unveiled in NY, and will be open not only the press (as is typically the case with new product unveils), but also the public. In a posting on Chinese social networking platform Weibo, OnePlus Pete Lau said $600 would be "enough" for the OnePlus 5T.

OnePlus has finally revealed that it will be launching the new OnePlus 5T smartphone on November 16. While on the front, it will feature a 20MP snapper.

However, display may not be the only big change in OnePlus 5T. OnePlus believes that OnePlus fans and community want the headphone jack on their phones, and hence the company is going to follow what the customers want and will not ditch the headphone jack like other companies. We're speculating that there might be live music and/or some sort of incentive offered to event-goers for the 5T, but nothing is specifically mentioned in the forum post. The phone - according to Phonearena is of West 34th Street and Broadway in Manhattan, New York City.
