New Information Changes Timeline of Las Vegas Shooting

The companion of the Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock has been put on a USA government watch list as the FBI continues to press her for information about the worst mass shooting in modern American history, federal law enforcement officials tell ABC News.

On Friday, Matthew Lombard, her attorney, told reporters that she continues to cooperate with authorities.

According to Lombardo, Campos came up to the 32nd floor to investigate an alarm caused by an open door unrelated to Paddock. The room was crowded with weapons and his auto packed with explosives.

It is believed Paddock, 64, was drilling the holes either to install cameras to check if anyone was coming up the hotel corridor, or to actually use them as bullet firing holes.

Investigators are now working on learning more about Paddock's frame of mind. "Additionally, the Behavioral Analyst Unit from the Federal Bureau of Investigation is on the ground, here locally".

Paddock died of a self-inflicted gun shot as police descended on his hotel room. "We want to figure out the why to this, and we'd like to know the motive. That is our most important goal to prevent any further action associated with other individuals contemplating this or what exactly in the suspect's mind would enable him to pull off such a complicated event", Lombardo said during Monday's press conference.

Investigators are continuing to question Paddock's brother, Eric, and his girlfriend, Marilou Danley.

Sherriff Lombardo has said previously it is possible that Paddock had planned to escape.

"Every piece of information we get is one more piece of the puzzle in this case", Lombardo said.
