Jackie Chan confirms that 'Rush Hour 4' is on the way

I hope. If Chris Tucker agrees.

Jackie Chan was recently interviewed by Power 106 Los Angeles and he confirms that he was turning down the script for Rush Hour 4 for the past seven years.

"It's pretty good. Different", Jackie told Extra about the script for the fourth film. "Yesterday, we just agreed", he added.

The action superstar confirmed that Rush Hour 4 will be happening as long as Chris Tucker is on board with it.

Are you excited for Rush Hour 4 or is it way too late?

"It's not about the money!"

Ten years have passed since we last saw detectives Young Lee and James Carter taking down the Chinese mafia on the big screen in the Rush Hour franchise.

Jackie Chan confirmed Rush Hour 4 during a United Kingdom radio show, saying they've been turning down "script after script" for the fourth installment for years, until finally, "we just agreed". Do you really, actually want to see a fourth Rush Hour movie? Tucker's career has been an interesting one, to say the least.

The original Rush Hour came out in 1998 with two sequels following in 2001 and 2007. Barring the short-lived 2016 CBS Rush Hour television series adaptation, the franchise has been in hibernation for over decade.

In 2012, he appeared in "Silver Linings Playbook", and he may be on a comeback tour as he's also rumored to be appearing in "Last Friday", which is a follow-up to his 1995 film "Friday". In 2015, he re-emerged briefly for his own stand-up special on Netflix. Because of this, Chris said that Jackie told him he would have to do the chasing next time around.

Talking about how he gets on going without a break the actor said "Sometimes I look at some other actors, famous actors, they're so comfortable!" I don't even know what they have left for Rush Hour 4.
