As part of her new YouTube special, Simply Complicated, Lovato watched clips from the 2008 Disney movie Camp Rock with two friends.

Paris was one of the luminaries to star in Demi's Sorry Not Sorry music video, partying alongside the likes of Jamie Foxx and Wiz Khalifa. "I wasn't acting much. we had our first kiss on camera". Even Jonas for that matter had spoken about Lovato earlier and said that she was practically family and had known her for many years.

When she gets to the clip of her character, Mitchie, approaching Joe's character, Shane, by the lake, she exclaims, "Oh my god, wait - this moment, I freakin' fell in love with him".

Lovato and Joe Jonas weren't actually a couple when they filmed Camp Rock, but they dated briefly in 2010 after finishing up Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. Lovato mentioned it when she appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Watch Demi and her friends heap on the nostalgia in the video above and catch Simply Complicated on Netflix starting October 17.

With just a week to go until Demi Lovato's documentary "Simply Complicated" is released on YouTube, the songstress has given fans a small glimpse of what they can expect by sharing its official trailer.

Demi Lovato broke from her typical strategy of not talking about her sexuality in the press to reveal that she's open to dating both men and women.

"I think that it's very courageous, and I think it's very important that people stand up for themselves and speak out about these issues because it just gives people at home, people that don't have a voice, the courage to step forward with things that happened to them as well".
