Sushma Swaraj grants visa to Pak girl for heart surgery

Even though Swaraj has time and again taken a soft stand towards Pakistani nationals and helped them by granting medical visa but she has slammed the neighbouring country for its terror activities at United Nation General Assembly. Ms Swaraj's freakish taunt and allegation marked a rhetorical escalation in India's seemingly renewed quest to try and put pressure on Pakistan regionally and globally.

Meanwhile, General Assembly president Miroslav Lajcak has said that he will "certainly think" about how to deal with erroneous use of pictures. "The picture was taken on July 22, 2014 by an American photographer Heidi Levine". "On the auspicious occasion of India's Independence day, we will grant medical visa in all bonafide cases pending with us".

"This is the face of Indian democracy", Lodhi said of the picture which had no connection with Kashmir.

Maleeha Lodhi said Kashmir was not the part of India, but the state has illegally been occupied by it. Umar Faiyaz was kidnapped at a wedding celebration.

"While making our collective efforts here at the United Nations or at other multilateral settings, we must be mindful to support the strengthening of Afghanistan's sovereignty and stability, the two things anti-Government terrorist elements are trying to undermine from their safe havens across the borders of Afghanistan", he said.

"This was the reality that the Permanent Representative of Pakistan sought to obfuscate", Tripathi said. "We also pray for her early recovery", Swaraj tweeted accepting Nida Shoaib's request for granting visa for her daughter's treatment.

This comes a day after Pakistan described India as "the mother of terrorism" in South Asia, and tried to pass off fake pictures of Gaza war victim at the UNGA to embellish its false narrative on Kashmir.

Tipu Usman, a Counsellor at the Pakistani Mission, told the Assembly, "India is seeking to hide behind a picture". "The true face of Pakistan is not hidden from anyone", Tripathi said as she displayed the two pictures again to the global community.
