New report may solve the last mystery surrounding Apple's iPhone 8

by Edgar Hayes September 10, 2017, 9:16

The device is expected to launch alongside 2 other models that will feature nearly the same design as the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus but with improved internals and glass shells instead of aluminum.

The coding purportedly revealed the Apple's latest three smartphones will be named the iPhone8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X. As it turns out, (something what we have hear a few days ago too), what we thought was the iPhone 8 will reportedly be called iPhone X. That does make sense though considering it is the tenth anniversary edition iPhone.

In addition to the portrait, the iPhone 8 camera will also have new video recording resolution and capture speeds.

Apple will launch the iPhone 8 on Tuesday. The power button may get new functionality like calling up Apple Pay cards and summoning Siri.

The leaked operating system corroborates earlier Bloomberg reports that the premium X device will replace the usual Touch ID fingerprint scanner with a face unlock feature. Nonetheless, the prediction that Apple's new iPhone will lead to a period of strong growth is based on the idea that the iPhone 8, along with the upgraded iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus, will impress and therefore sell well.

We have less than two weeks to go before Apple unveils the iPhone 8 and finally puts an end to all the rumors and speculation.

Ever since the iPhone 5S, TouchID has been a staple for all Apple mobile devices and has become the main security feature to access your Apple Account as well. As there is no official information about pre-booking and shipping of these devices, these dates may change and you may have to wait a bit longer for the anniversary special device from Apple.

Talking about the announcement, Apple fans can expect the event to be held at the company's brand-new Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California, otherwise known as "Steve Jobs Theater".

Other makers are also scrambling for market share, including Google, which is expected to soon unveil a second-generation of its flagship Pixel smartphone.

It is also expected that the company will provide more modest updates to the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.

Mark Gruman: Apple iPhone 8 features Another noted analyst Mack Gruman revealed some of the interesting features which could be incorporated in iPhone 8.

We all know iPhone 8 isn't going to have a physical Home Button.
