Megyn Kelly Has Awkward Interview With Jane Fonda

"You admit you've had work done, which I think is to your credit", Megyn said.

On Wednesday's episode of Megyn Kelly Today, the former Fox anchor sat down with screen legends Jane Fonda and Robert Redford to discuss their upcoming film, Our Souls at Night-or at least that's what the actors were told they'd be discussing. I read you said you felt not proud to admit you had work done.

Megyn clearly wasn't sensing her guest's tone, though, continuing: "One of the things people think about you when they look at you is how wonderful you look".

Kelly's show has gotten off to a rocky start since its Monday debut.

In the Netflix film, Fonda and Redford play a widow and widower, respectively, who fall into a romantic relationship with each other.

U.S. actress Sarah Michelle Gellar hailed Fonda for keeping her composure writing: "So how come @megynkelly didn't ask @RobertRedford if he had any plastic surgery?". "But I think she's awesome".

Based on Kent Haruf's novel and adapted by The Fault in Our Stars writers Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber, the film stars Fonda, 79, and Redford, 81, as widowed neighbors Addie Moore and Louis Waters. While she wouldn't set the record, she would bump Katharine Hepburn down to third on the list of Best Actress winners sorted by age; she was 74 when she claimed her record fourth Academy Award for "On Golden Pond". People looked older back then. I was constantly forcing myself on him.

There are just some things women don't like to talk about, and a facelift is surely one of them - let alone on nationwide television.

"So how come @megynkelly didn't ask @RobertRedfcrd if he had any plastic surgery??". "There is eventually a love scene", she said. She invited a fan onto the stage and asked, "Is it true that you became a lawyer, and you became gay, because of Will?"

"I've had plastic surgery". I have and I've talked about it.
