Giants officially list WR Beckham as questionable for opener

While there are numerous offensive stars for both the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys, one thing to keep an eye on this contest is how latter's revamped offensive front deals with the Big Blue pass rush.

In fact, according to an report, Prescott will make almost five times his National Football League salary in endorsement deals this year.

The Cowboys and Giants kick off at 8:30 p.m. ET on Sunday night, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. Eastern time and can be seen on NBC. Now, he's set to start on the game's biggest stage.

Giants CB Janoris Jenkins vs. Cowboys WR Dez Bryant: There were no better performances for Jenkins in his All-Pro season than the two against Bryant, who was held to one catch in each of the two Giants victories. Tonight the New England Patriots take on the Kansas City Chiefs on NBC, and this weekend the Dallas Cowboys take on the New York Giants.

In 16 games past year, Dallas scored at least 20 points on 12 occasions.

Giants: Stopping the run was to be the priority even if Ezekiel Elliott was not in uniform.

Beckham did not participate in any of the team's practices this week, although he was spotted running on the side while the rest of the team worked out on the field.

For the Giants, linebacker Keenan Robinson (concussion) is out and wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. Last season as a team, the Giants totaled 93 rushing yards on 33 carries against the Cowboys (2.8 yards per rush), and in the 2016 season opener, the Giants played better with 24 carries for 113 yards (4.7 ypc). Beckham is listed as questionable and will likely be a game-time decision.

Clearly, the Cowboys aren't going to win playing the Giants' game. LT Tyron Smith and RT La'el Collins against DEs Olivier Vernon and Jason Pierre-Paul should be worth the price of admission.
