Cleveland Browns' DeShone Kizer and avoiding Baltimore pass rush: Crowquill

Such an expectation wasn't fair, let alone reasonable.

The Browns lost a surprisingly close game at home and it seems that have found something special in rookie quarterback Deshone Kizer, who threw for 222 yards and a touchdown in his National Football League debut.

However, they may finally be able to climb out of the AFC North cellar where they've resided the last 6 seasons and 12 of the 14 years that the division has existed thanks to some help from the Cincinnati Bengals.

For the second week in a row, the Browns find themselves as the team to bet against, and again by 10 points to the opposing team. This year one of Dalton's key protectors, right guard Kevin Zeitler, was lured away by the Browns to come protect rookie quarterback DeShone Kizer.

Over on the Browns' side, they're now 0-1 after showing some life in a 21-18 defeat by the Steelers in Week 1. "I think it's exciting for our organization", he went on.

Today, the Cleveland Browns will try to get their first win of the regular season when they head to Baltimore to take on the Ravens. The game is scheduled for 1:00 PM EST at M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore, Maryland.

The rookie quarterback showed promise in his debut, passing for 222 yards, a touchdown and interception on 20-of-30 attempts. Cleveland has been utterly wretched at the game's most important position, cycling through an incredible 27 players under center since 1999.

The Browns narrowly lost to the Steelers in their season opener, but there were bright spots to be gleaned from Sunday.
