Corinne Olympios & DeMario Jackson Set to Return for 'Bachelor in Paradise' Special

Following the scandal surrounding accusations of misconduct pertaining to a potentially non-consensual sexual interaction between castmates on the current season of Bachelor In Paradise, it was unclear if the alleged victim, Corinne Olympios, would return to the show.

ABC has set a new start date for Bachelor in Paradise after production was held up due to investigations of misconduct on the Mexico set.

"I am very happy to be appearing on the Bachelor In Paradise Special", Corinne told E!

It was previously rumored that the show was going to be cancelled after news that production had been halted, but Warner Bros. eventually cleared Bachelor in Paradise of any wrongdoing and revealed filming would resume.

"Paradise" was initially scheduled to launch its fourth season on August 8 until the plan was abruptly altered due to a production shutdown.

Corinne Olympios will return to "Bachelor in Paradise" after all.

Corinne also initiated her own investigation with the help of her legal team, hoping that she could finally confirm what really transpired that night. In a statement, she shared, "I respectfully made the decision not to return".

It remains to be seen if, and how extensively, the show will address what happened between Olympios and Jackson. That's not who I am as a person, like, I'm not one of those petty people. "I got played. Not by [Corinne]", he said during a sit-down in June.

Jackson additionally told TMZ he would not bring up the incident with Olympios, but that "If she wants to come up to me, we can talk on camera, we can talk offline". "I'll wait for her to [bring it up to me]. Whether it's [at the reunion show] or in the future, 10 years from now". Maybe she won't be done with the Bachelor franchise after this like we thought!
