Ant-Man & The Wasp Casts Randall Park as SHIELD's Jimmy Woo

As for the role he's playing, it is rumored to be SHIELD agent and Agents of Atlas member Jimmy Woo, but that hasn't been confirmed by Marvel.

The upcoming sequel of 2015's Ant-Man will see the return of Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly as the title characters - Ant-Man and the Wasp. (Dave), while Hannah John-Kamen (Game of Thrones) has been cast in an as-yet-unrevealed role. Featuring classic comic book artwork of the original Ant-Man (Hank Pym) and Wasp (Janey Van Dyne), the post had the mere caption: "Stay tuned".

Fresh Off the Boat star Randall Park is set to play S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Jimmy Woo in Marvel's ANT-MAN AND THE WASP, the Tracking Board has exclusively learned.

Peyton Reed will return to direct Ant-Man and the Wasp, which is written by Transformers: The Last Knight's Andrew Barrer & Gabriel Ferrari from a story by Academy Award victor Adam McKay (The Big Short) and star Paul Rudd.

Randall Park is a fantastic comedic actor, who stars as the patriarch of the Orlando-based Asian-American family at the center of the 1990s-set sitcom Fresh Off the Boat, a wholly underrated comedy series. All we can do is speculate, as plot details for "Ant-Man and the Wasp" are of course a closely guarded secret at present. There are several theories as to who the third new character might be. Otherwise, the sequel hits theaters on July 6, 2018.

Stay tuned for more Ant-Man and the Wasp information as it comes. Director Peyton Reed, who replaced Edgar Wright before production began on the first Ant-Man, will be back behind the camera for the sequel.
