After sunset temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 30s around midnight. In Abilene, the high temperature was 67 - eight degrees below the normal high of 75.

Some severe weather will be possible Thursday morning, especially across southside Virginia and Hampton Roads.

Despite the colder start we'll be warmer by Friday afternoon thanks to a south wind 5-15 miles per hour, highs will be in the mid-upper 60s. West wind 5 to 10 miles per hour. Thursday cools down with highs in the low and mid 60s with a mix of clouds and sun.

Tuesday will be warmer than Monday with highs in the upper 50s and lower 60s.

Syracuse-An extended period of dry weather will kick off this weekend across Central New York as low pressure pulls away and high pressure builds into the southeastern United States.
