Spring like weather today/tomorrow but more rain in the forecast

Expect rain and a few thunderstorms throughout the morning with the best chance of rain north of I-44. A southerly wind will keep temperatures in the upper 50s with low 60s inland.

It will be around 50 on Wednesday with partly sunny skies and a very slight chance of rain.

The clouds will move back in tonight and areas of fog are going to be a possibility and it could be a little dense in localized areas. Severe weather is not expected. Above normal temperatures will span across much of the East Coast which means high temperatures will reach the 60s.

Another soaking rain could be in the offing for Tuesday, followed by yet another chance for some April showers later next week.

After waking up to cold temperatures region-wide this morning, abundant amounts of sunshine will warm things up quickly, with highs topping off in the 40s and 50s by this afternoon under mostly sunny skies. Dogwood winter will continue through Friday night with lows dropping into the upper 30's by Saturday morning. With some leftover moisture Thursday night, low temperatures will drop down into the low-mid 30s.

As the next storm approaches Northern California we will see more clouds today and tomorrow but it will still remain dry with above average highs.

High pressure will build in from the west on Saturday.
