Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 Won't Have a Multiplayer Mode Until Q3 2017

For those that pre-ordered the game expecting to play multiplayer at launch, it looks like you'll have to make-do with playing the single-player over and over for a few months.

As covered earlier, the game already suffers from severely long loading times, but it appears that the game's promised multiplayer portion is also absent. The long load time is being chalked up to the thoroughly open-world nature of the game. Unless what you really need is for it to load faster on PS4. In that time, you can actually complete a race in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Be a Sniper: Engage your targets from the long range. Will you snipe from afar, creep in the shadows, or go in guns blazing? Even older ZX Spectrum games from the 80s loaded faster than Sniper Ghost Warrior 3.

Dig deep into the Ghost Warrior DNA as you choose between taking out your targets up close or from a distance, while at the same time focusing on your survival through evasion and stealth.

The severely delayed Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is out today, but players will only be able to enjoy the game's single player mode.

The game will be arriving on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC on the 25th of April.

Alan Kertz, the gameplay designer for Battlefield 4 and Star Wars Battlefront developer DICE, posted a couple of tweets last. For fans of the Sniper franchise the wait has been agonising but that wait means that CI Games will hopefully have produced one heck of a fantastic game.

A new Xbox One update will be available for preview members that will improve the backwards compatibility experience.
