Galaxy A7 2017 Nougat update enters testing, release nears

Fortunately, there are already a whole bunch of Galaxy S8 cases for sale, from super-rugged models to more subtle skins that won't obscure the S8's slick design. No details revealed on the launch and availability of the device as of yet. The Samsung Galaxy S8 produces up to 1,020 nits under high ambient light conditions and boasts a screen reflectance of just 4.5 percent, which ranks among the lowest Display-Mate has ever tested in their lab.

While its stunning, nearly edgeless display left many in awe, one design aspect about the Galaxy S8 tech aficionados rushed to ridicule was Samsung's decision to build a dedicated physical button for its virtual assistant, Bixby. Industry watchers said the change reflects the rising demand for premium smartphones in China, a major market for Samsung phones.

The Galaxy S8 took a pretty big spill - the phone was still usable, but had a nasty, spiderweb-like crack across the entire screen and showed some nasty shattering around the edges. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 830 and will have impressive cameras both on the front and the rear. Bixby is Samsung's virtual assistant who offers all the features of Google Assistant and more.

With this in mind, there is a good chance that Samsung would finally roll out a stunning 4K Galaxy S smartphone for its 2018 flagship.

This year, we don't expect that to be the case. They are taking things a step further this year with the release of HTC 11 which is rumored to be a classy smartphone made to catch the eye from afar. The smartphone will be available in three different color options such as old, black, and white. Would you be interested in purchasing it for the asking price or would you rather stick to some other budget offering?

Earlier this week, Samsung began distributing the March security update for Android to its Galaxy A5 (2017) in Europe.
