Demi looked glamorous as ever in a strapless LBD and sultry makeup as she taught James a thing or two about being a diva with the help of the a capella singing group Level.

When the host tried to one-up the star by telling her, "I've got hits from before you were born", Demi had the ideal clap back: "And I've got hits that are my own".

James Corden just learned never to challenge a modern diva. "It's as simple as that".

On the latest episode of the Late Late Show, James began saying that he thinks divas back in the day were better than divas today. Her performance was met with loud applause from the studio audience.

Corden claimed on his show that divas of the past, such as Aretha Franklin and Tina Turner, were superior to contemporary divas.

Demi laughed: "Wow, that was bad". "You're the best damn diva I've ever seen", she told him. "You need a little respect".

The 24-year-old singer belted out Adele's "Rolling in the Deep", Katy Perry's "Roar" and her own chart-topping single "Heart Attack".

After the performance, she jokingly concluded: "Can you pick my mic up. bitch!"
