California Trump rally turns violent

In headlines reporting the violence, media outlets either seemed to blame the Trump supporters for the violence, or used passive language that made the violence seem to have erupted as a natural effect of the events. About 100 people attended the more festive affair, which included music and dancing. Attendees said they not only came out to support President Donald Trump, but to show their appreciation for veterans, law enforcement and first responders.

Philadelphia police public information officer Sgt. Eric Gripp told NBC Philadelphia that police are aware of the video and are looking into it.

Two people were cited for disorderly conduct before the rallies dispersed.

There were other counter-protesters but they fled the scene before the police arrived.

"We're not xenophobic", Guenther said.

On Saturday in Huntington Beach, California, arrests were made at a "Make America Great" rally for President Donald Trump after a group of black-clad protesters showed up and confronted supporters of Trump.

A video of the attack on the man with pepper spray was uploaded to YouTube, showing the demonstrators beating him on the beach. "That is even more reason to go", one woman said. NBC afilliate KGW reported that a fistfight broke out.

"It was unfortunate there were some incidents", Pearsall said. Several other fights also broke out between demonstrators.

The situation got ugly and lasted for about a half hour; after much yelling, shoving, pushing and punching, some protesters pepper-sprayed a group of marchers.

Arrests have been made after a brawl broke out at a pro-Trump march in the U.S. state of California, ABC News reports. "We are really looking to work with everybody and not just people on our side", Frank George IV told the station.

On Saturday, Trump praised his supporters, he tweeted: 'Thanks you for all of the Trump Rallies today. NBC Boston reported. Around 2,000 people turned out at a pro-Trump rally in Seaside Heights on the Jersey Shore.
