Remy Ma Unleashes On New Diss Track

Music fans are busy asking what happened with Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma to cause the rappers to engage in supposed diss tracks and social media feuds, but the Twitterverse is also busy pitting them against one another.

Over the classic and iconic 2001 track, "Ether", where a scrappy Nasir Jones came back at a tough Jay Z, "Takeover" diss, Remy unleashed heavenly bars and hellish fury for almost seven minutes.

There was speculation that Remy Ma was the target of Minaj's shots following her verse on Phresher's "Wait a Minute" remix.

Hath the queen been dethroned? The title is a reinterpretation of Ether by Nas, which Remy uses as the instrumental for shETHER.

I'm Wild'n Out, bout to hit Nick with the Cannon How are you on the VMAs acting like you hood?

The rapper slams Nicki on the fiery hip hop track, taking aim at the "Anaconda" singer's famous booty: "I told you I wasn't talking about your dumb ass / It look stupid, you literally got a dumb ass..."

"You see silly rabbit, to be the queen of rap/you got to sell records, you got to get plaques/'s" plural, like the "S" on my chest", Minaj, 34, rapped in her new song.

Friends in high places!

Late Saturday, Minaj sought to end all the madness- at least for the day- by posting a pair of Instagram responses where she ridiculed Remy and Fat Joe's stalled sales for their Plato O Plomo collaboration.

She captioned the post: 'Yikes'.

Minaj wasn't too happy with Songz's reaction to Remy Ma's diss track.

Remy was released from prison in 2014 after serving six years.
