Michelle Obama joins 'Carpool Karaoke,' jams out to Beyonce and Missy Elliott

Michelle Obama showed us once again why we're going to miss her so much when she leaves the White House.

Michelle's now set the bar extremely high for carpool karaoke ... f*** having to follow that!

Last night, a very relaxed Michelle Obama joined James Corden - and James Corden's hand (which was front and center) - for the "Late Late Show" feature Carpool Karaoke.

"Right now there are 62 million girls worldwide that aren't in school for a variety of different reasons", the first lady explained.

"This Is for My Girls" was released in March of 2016.

Michelle Obama talks about her charity, "Let Girls Learn". And the first lady, it turns out, can really carry a tune.

Obama became the latest - and perhaps most unlikely - person to ride with Corden in a Carpool Karaoke segment, and the White House resident came to play. She meant it literally for the song of her own, 'This Is For My Girls', which she ordered to produce lining up a whole lot of pop stars to raise fund for Obama's Let Girls Learn campaign. The two sang through Stevie Wonder's "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" and Beyonce's "Single Ladies" before being joined by rapper Missy Elliot for a rousing edition of "This is for My Girls".

And she certainly looked like she enjoyed it. This woman's natural beauty and bubbly personality just radiate confidence and happiness. If Michelle Obama's recent Carpool Karaoke segment is any indication, there are piles of cameo gold in our future (and we'll never forget her and Barack's unbelievable Pitch Perfect 2 credit or POTUS Getting Coffee). Corden asks. "Just calling down at 3 a.m., I want a grilled cheese and a milkshake?" He also asked, "What are you gonna accidentally slip in your bag?"
