NFL Draft Grade: New York Giants

Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports reports that the New York Giants are hosting veteran cornerback Leon Hall on Tuesday even though the team drafted Eli Apple, who plays the same position as Hall.

"When somebody don't know what they're talking about, it's easy to depict it that way", Reese said about critics suggesting the Giants were unprepared and, as a result, ended up reaching for Eli Apple.

Eli Apple, the Giants' top pick in this year's NFL Draft, was offered a Rolex and diamonds to wear to the draft's green room last Thursday.

"We thought those (targeted) guys were good players", he said.

That message invites some questions, but it can be assumed some of the aforementioned "thirsty girls" have already pursued the Giants' first-round pick via social media. We absolutely had gone over this scenario many times.

Eli Apple, a cornerback from Ohio State, and his mother Annie Apple laugh as they take photos outside of the P&G VIP Style Lounge on Wednesday in Chicago.

It sure the heck looks like Apple has a strong supporting cast as he ventures into his new life as a National Football League player. If he were to play for Atlanta, however, he could still have a shot at lining up as the team's slot corner, especially considering the Falcons' selection of former Florida safety Keanu Neal in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft. "He was right in our window, where we had him ranked on our board, and he was an easy pick for us".
