Rihanna canceled her Grammy performance because of illness

Fans were understanding when Rihanna canceled her Grammys performance for medical reasons - but is there more going on here than just a case of bronchitis?

Corden said Rihanna was "under the weather" when they rehearsed the performance, but he still arrived to the GRAMMYs thinking that the show would still go on.

Sources tell the U.S. gossip website that the star's been "struggling with bronchitis" and is on medication.

Rihanna had been taking antibiotics for three days, though the meds "did not kill the infection adequately".

She also pulled out in 2009 after singer Chris Brown, her boyfriend at the time, was charged with assaulting her.

Yikes! Not to mention, several people are also calling out the starlet's flawless performance at Lionel Richie's charity event - which took place only two nights before the alleged medical emergency.

Think you were the last person to find out that Rihanna had canceled her Grammy performance?
