Betting odds favor Triple H to become WWE Royal Rumble Champion

That means having the Wyatt Family eliminate Lesnar from the Royal Rumble in some fashion.

The key to a good Royal Rumble is that there has to be a good quantity of people that can realistically win the match. The go-home show to the Royal Rumble was less than spectacular, but it's pretty obvious WWE has placed little to no importance on SmackDown even though the program has moved to the USA Network.

One prediction is that Kevin Owens and Dean Ambrose could go on a feud in the ring, with Ambrose coming out as the victor. Had they matched him up against Brock Lesnar, there's a good chance fans would have switched sides. Ryback will face Bray Wyatt. That leaves us with Sheamus, who can substantiate his recent, abbreviated stint as World Heavyweight champ - and fortify his stable as a force to be reckoned with - by shocking the WWE universe and Brogue Kicking his way to a second Rumble win in five years. If so, the organization needs to make Strowman look as strong as possible heading into Fastlane (in Cleveland) and WrestleMania 32. I don't think this would be the worst decision in the world; Styles is known by all hardcore fans and the Rumble is in Orlando, the one city in America where the fans should really recognize Styles and know what he is about. Before the Rumble match, Ambrose and Owens will compete in a Last Man Standing match, which will take quite the toll on Owens before the Rumble.

Another doctor independent from the WWE has reportedly cleared Daniel Bryan for a return to in ring action.

One can argue that Sami has done everything down at NXT, and it is only a matter of time before Sami once again gets called up to the main roster.

When WWE reached out to Styles earlier this month, their original plan was for him to debut in the Royal Rumble match as a surprise, which is why they weren't happy that him giving his notice to New Japan became public knowledge. With The Rock now filming the new Baywatch movie it all depends on whether he is going to be able to secure insurance should he suffer an injury. The McMahons have stacked the deck against Roman Reigns, which is sure to guarantee a roller coaster experience this Sunday.

The '92 Rumble match had a star-studded lineup that also included Roddy Piper, Randy Savage, Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, Jake Roberts, Sgt. Slaughter and Kerry Von Erich. Triple H was put out of commission by the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns at the TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs pay-per-view event.

Triple H, or Vince McMahon, can then announce that Bryan will have to prove he can handle being in the WWE on a regular schedule. Or maybe having the Wyatt Family decimate Reigns and Brock Lesnar at the end of Raw was a sign of change but that's highly doubtful. As of the time of publishing, there are only six matches on the card for the Royal Rumble, and one of those is on the preshow.
